Adelle Tracey
Adelle Tracey is a British track and field middle-distance athlete, known best for her beaming smile and impressive pace on the track. She has competed regularly for Great Britain over 800 metres on the world stage for the past 10 years. Her 800m personal best (1:59.50) ranks her 20th on the UK all-time list. Outside of athletics, Adelle is a Women's Sport Trust 'UNLOCKED' alumni and has passionately used her platform to advocate for women in sport. She balances her incredible achievements on the track with a career as a professional Hair & Makeup Artist and is a proud ambassador for both the British Dyslexia Association and Dementia UK.

Championing a strong positive mindset, no matter the setback, Adelle maintains: “What I take from my experiences is how much I overcame, rather than how close I was”. Despite achieving the qualifying time for the 2020 Olympic Games, Adelle narrowly missed out on a place in the GB team due to the competitive field. Bouncing back from Olympic disappointment, Adelle competed in the Diamond League just two days after the Olympic trials. One month later, she achieved a new PB in the 1500m (4:06.56) and now has her sights set on the major championships in 2022, including the World Athletics Championships and Commonwealth Games.
